Hello, my name is Shelby.

I've grown up around art my whole life. My mother's and grandmother's paintings, quilts, and stitchwork adorned the walls and beds of my home. My grandfather's, father's, and brother's wood-workings house my knick-knacks. It was only natural that I embrace the family legacy of creativity.

I love to explore the things that capture my interest, and I hate to feel trapped in one specific thing, which is why, as you scroll my portfolio, you will see different subjects, mediums, and styles as I try to figure out who I am as an artist and attempt to capture the beauty of being human.
